John Stemberger’s efforts to allow voters to decide on an amendment to the Florida State constitution have succeeded, in the face of opposition efforts to prohibit the vote from taking place. All the necessary signatures have been collected. During the 2008 election, voters throughout Florida will be able to decide whether or not to amend the constitution to define a marriage as a union between one man and one woman.
